>still buying vintage
>>58336784Never been more relevant. Even fucking junk rares like pic related that everyone from the Covid era has multiple playsets of are $20 fucking dollars now. God bless stupid normies.
>>58336790I wonder if the price will stay the same after the next market death or we gonna live with such "established prices" forever now...Better buy cheap s/v cards of your favorite pokemon bros. Otherwise the next 2030s hype will make them expensive tooMost of cryptobros/NFTcucs are in their late 20s - mid-late 30s. We have a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go with this shit
>still grading cards
>>58336868I need to pick up the Litwick, Lampent and Chandelure IRs before cryptobros start pumping them because of the new mega evolution.
>>58336868Zards will always be relevant, even the non big chases
>>58336891AW FUCK i forgot about those...this hobby is so stressful we better start making actual paper/txt lists of cards to buy
>>58336895nobody gave a shit about zards before cryptocucks pumpNOBODY gave a shit about charizards for a long timeand before that people gave a shit only because of Shadowless Vintage Meme/Logan Pewyl
Didn't realise the old thread hit bump limit, what do people think about these? >>58336897
>>58336903>stock sugumoris slapped on a stock library photo with some tacky filter addedahh its that vintage 'sovl' i hear so much about
>>58336903cards for vintage investorsI can't see people genuinely getting those just for their beautiy.I would get them just because they were one of the first ones but i'm not gonna pay the price just for the novelty impulse buy.if you missed those - don't bother - we have over 900000 top tier cards now.
>>58336903This >>58336913 but unironically. They're cool cards.
>>58336895>random chinese zards among japanese zardswhy?
>>58336903cool cards, slightly overpriced given how damaged they are even though they are promos
>>58336922>trainer galleryfucking based
>>58336946>trainer gallery>fucking basedthe best part - trainer gallery cards dont have Yellow (no Silver) borders. they are their own cool thing
>>58336936The Lance zard and the Vmax zard were never released in Japanese, you can find them in every language, even thai, but not in jap.I chose chink Vmax because of the texture, and chink Lance because I prefer the Asian 25th stamp compared to the Pikachu face.
>mfw ive secured 2 of the best feraligatr cards in psa 9Got my e reader feraligatr on the way to go with my cracked ice feraligatr.

Would you buy a high end commemorative product that contained one of each card from the original era with special new foiling for $600 USD?
A 151 classic era collection.Imagine open a large case, inside were several decks. One marked Expansion Pack, one marked Pokemon Jungle, another Mystery of the Fossils, another that says Rocket Gang, as well as Leaders Stadium & Challenge from the Darkness. And of course a deck labeled Expansion sheets 1, 2, 3 for the Vending Series, and another deck labeled promos.Shit would be cash.
>>58337206The shit smear really adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the silver borders.
I am once again asking for card with good texture to buy
I am once again posting vintage cards as a psyop.
Would you redeem
by default the garbage bag pokemon should be indias favorite.

Is there an agreed-upon best site to buy from? TCGplayer?Decided to collect every card for my favorite mon (Rolycoly)
Is the official 151 9-pocket binder any good? I usually prefer zippered binders but I'm having trouble finding some cool Pokémon affordable binders, the 151 seems to be the cheapest I've found.
>>58338225is that makeup or just asian skin? fella looking a little zesty anyhow
>>58338276TCGplayer if USACardmarket if EU
>>58336902I still genuinely have no idea who this fucking guy is. Is he big in America?
>>58338468From a Playstation 1 video game. PaRappa the Rapper.
>>58337772I only found out about the 2D Lvl 16 promo art the other day and it actually blew my mind that it wasn't the movie promo the Game Boy game was referring to. In retrospect I should've realised since they have different attacks.
>>58336902>>58338468J Balvin is a latin music artist
So we're all pretty much rich as shit now, right? My cards just crossed 100k lol and this market shows no signs of stopping until 30th anniversary.
I might be the person that hates Charizard the most in the world.
>>58338561seetheCHADrizard is the best pokémon
How do you guys display your cards? Examples would be greatly appreciated.
>>58338592Let me guess, you need more?
>>58337756The only set of special rares where English texture > Jap textureWe will never have XY again
>>58338537I've been rich since 2018, playing Pokemon stocks is just my hobby. You can choose to not listen to me of course, but I'll still be here without needing a job and calling you retarded.
>>58338663>FOLKS!!!!!!!
>>58338670Ok? I didn't even say anything specific you people are retarded about when it comes to speculation but I guess that's enough to trigger your Reddit autism. Go buy more rainbow rares lmao faggot.
>>58338692uh oh melty
>>58337756Great Tusk SAR is pretty good
Do you guys loose or tight fit penny sleeves?>>58338845thanks a nice Shuppet
I support our rainbow sisters
>>58338561I never liked Charizard that much, but i pulled a secret rare ages ago, which just so happened to be the coolest (non full art) card i have ever seen. I think the fact it's not only a shiny but also quite unique in its blue tint that you don't really see quite as much of in any other cards or video games.
Where plasma storm charizard really excels is in it's unapologetic majesty. The secret rare gold trim really brings out the primary fire red colour that makes up the majority of the card, like tomato sauce on a pizza base, with the dark blue tint, yellow flames and aforementioned gold trim serving as delicious toppings. Even the fighting type energy offers an interesting nuance from the usual fire and normal energy while maintaining the colour scheme to perfection.Every part of the card is used to 100% of it's potential. Not a millimetre of the illustration frame was wasted by Ayaka Yoshida. Every part serves a purpose to further enhance the value and prestige of the card. 136/135.
I want to get a card graded for my personal collection and not to resell, so I don't plan on going with PSA, I was thinking CGC or Beckett, do you guys have any experience/opinions on these companies?
>>58339199>I want to get a card graded for my personal collection and not to resell, so I don't plan on going with PSA, I was thinking CGC or Beckett, do you guys have any experience/opinions on these companies?seconding the questionI just really want my favorite cards to be graded... it will give them "well protected look". I want a proof of authenticity and other stuff.I just don't know where to start.the whole idea of sending my favorite cards and waiting for a few months fucking scares me...But people do that all the time. I guess it's not that difficult?
>>58339254>>58339199grading is a scambut if you were to do it, I'd say beckett for your best cards and cgc for anything else
I tried to pull a Plasma Storm Charizard. i ordered a tin off the interenet to try and get a pack, it was a reseal and missing the pack. i hope that guy who scammed me not only didnt pull the Charizard. but also has aids.
>>58339199what are you trying to grade?
Do you guys prefer tight fit or loose sleeves?
>>58337756Heracross EX is goated, one anon used to post his all the time until I caved and ordered one.>>58338280Anyone notice finding good zippered binders for under $60 is nearly impossible…? >>58338537Something like that. Considering a double cheeseburger from McDonald’s used to be $1 about 10 years ago and is now $5, “rich” is relative right? Here’s some codes for the gamers
Still buying vintage
>>58338592I dont display them because the natural uv light in a room will fade them over time.
>>58339295it's a reverse holo corphish, i've had the card for a long time but never played with it and kept it in a binder and its my favorite pokemon
Slowly but surely, through the casual posting of vintage Japanese cards, people will notice cards they like and begin to buy them off ebay further strengthening my positions.
>>58339461man this card will be so cheap couple of months laterthose UPC boxes will be everywherewhy degenerates are so fucking stupid
>>58339398a reverse holo would most likely fall under bulk and under 1000 dollars declared value. CGC and Beckett can grade it for under 20. IMO, grading reverse holo cards are pretty hard since more surface area = more chances of a scratch. if its really your favorite card, i would consider finding it already graded in a 10. but thats just me as a slab collector. do what you want with this advice.
>>58339461Shit! The new charizard is already pushing $800? I guess I better skip this one, aw who am I kidding gotta have my charizard!
ChAwizARd is the best pokemon he is a dragon and breathes fire and he is my favorite.I have all his vintage cards.
>inferno X is going to be the next Evolving Skies-like box>people saying japanese box will be super cheap compared to english...>this is japanese version of Evolving Skiesyeah...real cheapI guess i will keep my Inferno X boxes sealed.see you 10 years later
