Is the anon who crated the Vaporeon copypasta happy? Unc literally ruined a perfectly good Pokemon for an entire generation of people
>>
>comic
if you have a pokemon tattoo you should be made fun of
>>
unc genuinely fucked ts up for all of us, the joke is kinda buns and gooner anyways. type shi
>>
>>58351480
even celebrities aren't immune
>>
>>58351473
Normies don't know about the copypasta. Regardless, I'm judging you negatively if you have Pokemon tattoos in the first place.

And no, Typedo will never be redeemed, but that is Game Freak's fault.
>>
>>58351473
I kinda find it funny just how much reach that fucking pasta had all over the internet, and notoriety it still has. I wonder if it resonated with a lot of people...
>>
>>58351499
The dog pill IS a thing. Normies are unfortunately aware of it.
What's even funnier is that the original copy pasta didn't get any replies before archiving. It was Reddit that propelled it into infamy.
>>
>>58351473
ts pmo sm fr lb inegl unc
>>
>>58351473
the original pasta didn't ruin anything, it's reddit/twitter that found it 2 years later made sure to post it everywhere they possibly could have
as usual normalfags ruin everything
>>
>>58351473
>>58351499
I don't think the copypasta would have spread like it did if people didn't somewhat agree with it. Or if not agree, at least see where Anon was coming from.
If the copypasta had been about a Pokemon with no erotic qualities whatsoever, not even an ugly one but just a neutral one like Pidgeotto, nobody would take it seriously and most people would recognize it as a joke (even if it was serious).
And if they didn't think Anon was joking, they at least wouldn't immediately come to the conclusion that the main appeal of Pidgeotto was sex appeal and that you're a pervert if it's your favorite.
Anyone who disapproves of you liking Vaporeon the same way they disapprove of you liking Gardevoir or Lopunny is implicitly admitting that they think it's erotic.
>>
>>58352260
This implies that everyone finds Gardevoir and Lopunny erotic.
>>
>>58351473
What does unc mean? Uncle? Honest question, help me out zoomer bros
>>
>>58352282
Yeah, it's short for uncle. It basically means you're old.
>>
>>58351473
I love blobslop I looooove blobslop
>>58351488
Fake fan
>>
>>58352266
I think most people recognize them as erotic, even if they don't appeal to them personally.
It's less
>I want to fuck this.
and more
>I can see why people want to fuck this.
>>
>>58351473
You mean saved vaporeon for a whole generation. But really glaceon is the real slut here
>>
>>58352291
Maybe if you’re some baby gen alpha or something, I’ve a friend who’s an uncle and he’s not even 30 yet
>>
>>58351473
Remember it was a guy here
>>
>>58351473
>Implying normalfags knows the lore.
>>
>>58352350
I recognize that. I was an uncle at 11. Zoomers do not give a shit and say unc to call you old regardless. It is fucking retarded and it gets under my skin. For all of the faults with Millennials and how many of them turned into the exact caricature that the boomers envisioned, their slang was half way approaching decent and not TOTALLY degenerative of the English language like this.
>>
>>58352385
Zoomer slang is just millennial slang that made its way out of various subcultures and into the mainstream

In fairness ‘unc’ is basically the western version of ‘oji-san’ which has been a thing since forever, cultural diffusion or something
>>
>>58351480
if you have a tattoo you should be made fun of
>>
>>58351488
that was a well-done tattoo
guess the state of the franchise in the 2020s got too cringe to bear
>>
>>58351510
Yeah, because people extolling pokephilia here is so common it wasn't noticeable.
>>
>>58353567
It wasn't nearly as common to do that in 2018. Not to say it didn't happen, just that it was far more uncommon.
>>
>>58352396
>In fairness ‘unc’ is basically the western version of ‘oji-san’
Huh, that kinda makes me like it actually
>>
>>58352396
>In fairness ‘unc’ is basically the western version of ‘oji-san’
Really? Because I heard it comes from Indian immigrants, y'know, the LATEST bunch. They all call unknown dudes "uncles" back there.
>>
>>58351473
Funny because it did not affect my enjoyment of Vaporeon at all, because I don't let others dictate what I enjoy.
>>
>>58352396
Unc is fucking ancient, there's a fucking 1930s newspaper comic strip named Unc.

I would be elated.
Pokephilia would happen regardless but to know personally I played a decent roll in it’s spread even though I could never admit or take credit for it must be amazing. I tried a few years ago to make my own pro pokephilia copypaste but it never went anywhere. Cheers to the vaporeon guy.

I mean fuck, I started exactly two(2) memes on this site which still sit in banner rotation and it always gives me a smile when I see them.

I just wish this went to a Pokemon actually sexy. The sheer increase in vaporeon images after the copypasta was insane. It feels like Luchachu being everywhere when popchu exists. It happened all over again with Vaporeon even though Glaceon exists. That’s the only thing I hate about it.

What is notable is that millennials didn't reference older gen x at all. We literally didn't care that they existed or what they were doing because we were immersed in our own culture. Zoomers have perpetual little brother syndrome and it's even manifested in their language.
>>
>>58359350
I don't see zoomers picking up millennial slang. I'm just fucking pissed off that our slang isn't of the same quality as even the baby boomers-and their slang was pretty bad too!
>>
>>58359350
It's because Gen X have nothing to complain about. Grew up in the 80s, reached adulthood by the 90s to profit from the booming economy so they had no trouble buying a house etc. They lucked out, but are usually quiet and humble enough to not brag about it (unlike boomers). So they just kinda exist.
Millennials had to face an economic crisis after enjoying their childhood in the 90s and grew up to watch the increasing political polarisation of society, which made them incredibly jaded, while also knowing a time before the internet.
Zoomers were born/grew up when both of the aforementioned issues were already in full effect, especially the polarisation part. The internet taught them to adapt an "us vs them" mentality, because that's basically all you see online. They also grew up with algorithm based websites (tumblr, twitter, youtube) that made them live in their own bubble, which enhances the us vs them mentality even further. I think that's why they're so aggressive towards millennials. They see them as some sort of outsider, and hate the fact that most of them had a nice childhood in the 90s. Add 5 layers of irony poisoning to the mix and you get extremely belligerent people who are addicted to being assholes to strangers online.

Thanks for reading my blog.
>>
>>58359403
>people who are addicted to being assholes to strangers online
That certainly describes /vp/.
>>
>>58359637
Yeah and /vp/ is full of zoomers. That's why there's so many absolutely pointless genwar posts and why some people scan every single post just to find an opening to shit on whatever gen they are currently hating on. They're just constantly looking for a fight to pick.
>>
>>58355123
only criminals have tattoos or dont care about them anymore.
Normalfags still judge you for being a dirty skinned faggot.
>>
>>58352314
Ok but your argument falls apart because Vaporeon is dog shaped not human shaped.
>>
>>58352396
Learning Japanese sure made that term a lot cuter too. "Ji" is literally their word for time/hour. When an anime girl is calling someone Oji they're literally calling him a great timer.
>>
>>58359705
>That's why there's so many absolutely pointless genwar posts
Nigger people have been posting like that since this board was invented, shut the fuck up. That is literal chan culture bread and butter.

>>

>>
>>58360747
Like the other anon said, it's gotten a lot worse. It used to be playful banter, now it's just pure vitriol with the sole purpose of irritating others and baiting for (You)s.
>>
>>58353716
Pathetic
>>
>>58359705
While your argument makes sense on the surface, I have three reasons on why I don't believe zoomers are the problem(when it comes to genwar threads.)
1) The rules of older 4chan were (generally) enforced more strictly. One of /vp/'s rules is "Do not incite genwars." (Rule 4.) Genwar threads that went out of control were simply deleted-and that's a fact you can see on the archives.
2) The state of the fandom was better. People on /vp/ were significantly more interested and enthused by new releases back then, even if it didn't live up to expectations. This only really changed with Sword and Shield, as this was and continues to be a controversial gen.
3) Speaking of Sword and Shield, the PANDEMIC happened around the same time. The collective social IQ of the west was dropped severely due to the inability to make proper face to face communication and were unable to break from our monotonous patterns, which stunted our mental health. We still have not recovered from this.

You're retarded, it got popular because it shocked and weirded people out. Boku no Pico blew up ages ago for similar shock value reasons, doesn't mean it's good at all. People who like either are freaks.

>1)
So you are saying the newer users abuse the looser rules now? Well guess which generation most new users belong to, anon.
>2)
There is a huge difference between being less enthusiastic about new releases and being a fucking dickhead by trying to drag a specific gen down. Especially considering it's usually older gens that are being used to encite genwars. Almost like a certain set of people was too young to actually experience those gens when they came out.
3)
Zoomers suffered more from the pandemic than other generations. There's countless studies about this. Going through a pandemic in your formative years and early 20s is obviously more difficult than for people who already finished their education and have a job. So obviously zoomer mental health took a bigger toll, and mentally unstable people obviously have a stronger tendency to seek online conflicts.
>>
>>58361450
>So you are saying the newer users abuse the looser rules now.
I didn't say shit about new users. I simply said what was happening. Old users are equally complicit in this matter. They did nothing to shun the behavior and attempt to self-moderate the boards.
>There is a huge difference between being less enthusiastic about new releases and being a fucking dickhead by trying to drag a specific gen down.
>The state of the fandom was better
I simply used enthusiasm as my example. When you feel hurt by something, you tend to turn on it, HARD.
>Zoomers suffered more from the pandemic than other generations.
The majority of my friends are older than me by a few years(I'm a mid-zoomer myself.) Many of them went off the deep end. Even my gen X parents suffered immensely, arguably more than me.
Yes, zoomers definitely got shafted, but the older generations shouldn't be ignored.

I don't even get it. There's been plenty of actually fuckable Pokemon out for like 20 years by the time the copypasta is made. Obviously the regular slew of waifumon, but especially Lucario and Blaziken because they're already so humanoid.
