its like a 3 out of 5 game.but the last few games have been more like 2 out of 5 so it looks good in comparison.

Tasks for 100%'ing are grindy af but you only had to do the bare minimum to get the shiny charm. A lot of the areas especially in Obsidian feel empty but that was also a Switch 1 issue.Despite its flaws the game is easily the best thing they've put out since Gen 5

>>58352436For once I could achieve the childhood fantasy of filling out a pokédex, something I always felt discouraged from doing because I didn't have friends who played the games (thus no trade evos, no version exclusives). Not that it was some kind of mind blowing event or anything like that, it was simply satisfying.The story was nice if not even good at times, mostly due to its themes and its pro-religion subtext that's always a breath of fresh aid in JRPGs, and I enjoyed the battle system (this somehow is a controversial statement despite the series having the same gameplay for decades, go figure).Also it gave me a cute old man. I want to smother him and lick his face.

>>58352436I’m 31. I’ll never forget the day my dad came home with pokemon gold and teal gameboy for me. I was like five maybe six. Legends Arceus was unironically my favorite pokemon game since Gen2. I loved how you had to do different things with each pokemon to get their Pokédex info completed, I loved the open world. I have some criticisms with the different bosses for upgrading your mount mon. But it was a damn good game and I really hope ZA delivers. Legends Arceus was about discovering the world of Pokemon. And I had fun doing it.
