Been lurking /vp/ for a few years but never paid a ton of attention to the cup. Can someone explain why Citizen Snips has the name that he has? I know the name is a Futurama reference. Was it just a case of, "We can't think of a better name for a scorpion" or did we get the name from /co/ or something? I'm not complaining about him; he seems great. I'm just wondering why we randomly have a Futurama reference on the team.

In his showderp set he uses acupressure which randomly boosts a stat, so you can imply that he uses his claws to do the move. He's one of the best pokemon memesets there is out there thanks to his typing and ability to prevent crits while boosting.
