Today was the first time i migrated a lot of cards from one binder to another.I didn't touch my Vault X binder for 3 years - was just adding new cards from time to time.What i learned:1) after 3 years Vault x black binder plastic pages look a bit "old" (they are not damaged i can't describe this correctly - they just a bit scuffed or "got old looking" even if i clearly didnt throw it around or scratched them)2) penny sleeves/regular sleeves are pain in the ass to take out/put in another binder when its about A LOT OF CARDS.I was constantly nervous of damaging something.3) The most well preserved looking cards were those that were a) Put in a perfect Fit sleeve b) after that put in an ETB-sleeve. It gave them a sturdy protection similar to Top-Loader and made them look very secured.I'm seriously thinking about just doing that: 1) perfect fit sleeve 2) etb sleeve (i wish etb sleeves didnt kill the card shine due to mattee plastic)

Fallout should introduce trading cards into their economy, there's so many people out there into cards now that it would make perfect sense to use. I'd be more likely to literally see myself using them in that kind of setting, if people are really mad enough to trade guns or something for my Star Charizard. New Vegas sort of did it with playing cards. But there's clearly so much inherent lust for pretty pieces of cardboard written into human behavior. They should bring back Tragic, and then maybe parody Pokemon and Yugioh while they're at it. Make them part of some faction system. Have there be pristine, graded cards of course, some of which contain some of the *only* copies of certain legendary cards in the game. That would be nuts.

This happens everytime I put a card next to the spine in a vault x binder because the pockets sit on a curved surface instead of a flat one.I just avoid the row nex to the spines now.

today i came across a guy selling cards in a binder for really cheap.And he had- Zekrom EX- Reshiram EX- Kuyrem EXfrom current scarlet-violet black/white sets.I love those pokemon and wanted to have these cards but paying for shipping for such cheap cards always feels weird so sometimes i skip such simple cards.I was so happy to grab all 3 cards for super cheap and WITHOUT shipping. Thin strands of the plastic come off every now and then. Their grading is also terrible, anything with a dent can get up to an ARS 9 and they dont count centering at all in their grading. So of course naturally since they dont count centering that leaves 3 grading standards; surface (which they dont grade dents harshly), corners, and edges. Less variables in grading means naturally higher grades. ARS is a joke company.
