A ton we can already tell for sure, but some we will have to wait for in-game. Honestly most of the so far revealed ones are Y, which is interesting. The only X's that I am sure on is Starmie an Dragalge, but I think Scrafty will be X judging by both the 4 pronged back of his hoodie skin and the notches in his hood and the rips in the pants. Mega Zygarde looks like it has both X and Y (even on the canon in literal letters), but keep in mind the other three forms of Zygarde are Z shaped and themed, not X or Y.

I really don't understand the starter selection. Emboar kind of has a theme but it has nothing to do with France or Kalos and Meganium and Feraligatr just Mega Evolve to become bigger versions of themselves. The fact that they mixed two starters from the same region with one from another kind of annoys me and I still don't get why they did that since now Typhlosion is going to be missing out from whatever benefits Meganium and Feraligatr get (Typhlosion not getting a Mega while the other two do is quite a spit in the face honestly). It really should've been Snivy, Piplup, and Scorbunny or something. Mega Empoleon would've been unreal and they could've gone hard with the Napoleon references.
