GOD I love Johto. Just the vibe of an ancient land, steeped in history and tradition, now on the cusp of modernization. Temples and traditional dances next to radio towers and bullet trains. The old struggling to remain in an ever-advancing world. And the Ruins Of Alph that show that there was and even older civilization that failed to stick around. Team Rocket, the villains defeated in the previous game, are also trying to make a comeback, refusing to be lost to the past. Johto is one of the best settings in a Pokemon game.
