>>58381936Skarmory was one of those ones thats guaranteed to be alright because it has no pre-evolutions.Basically, this has always been a thing but way more on the nose this gen, many of the megas are doing the thing where they incorporate elements of their pre-evolution.>Feraligatr is a giant totodile>Dragonite gets giant head wings>Eelektross gets giant tynamo arms>Scolipede gets a big bulky Whirlipede colored neck armor and becomes bulkier Pokemon that didnt have any pre-evolutions are basically only expanding upon themselves, which leads to the more classic "bigger and spikier" style of mega design.
