Expected size after Arceus. Honestly it's very solid Gen 6 mons are fun and most other gens being mostly megas means they all feel pretty fresh. Plus there is a whole new battle system. Sorry but this isn't a narrative that is going to stick.

I'm fine with it honestly, in X/Y I built a team of 6 where no pokemon had a mega and I was basically locked out of the gimmick that the game kept bringing up all the time.As for the dex size only secondaries would be bothered by it.At least the dex is fine (less opportunities to fuck up when you're designing megas for existing good mon lines) and the characters don't look vomit inducing. Might be the first playable pokemon game in the last 10 years. For sure they fucked something up big time, who am I kidding.

This is basically the Kalos mons +Mega mons. I would've liked more, but is reasonable.Since you can have more than 1 Mega, they probably expect you to focus on them.
