Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso, Takahiro Eguchi, Teruo Taniguchi are affiliated with SuperSweep, which is contracted by Game Freak for sound production. So even though they are famous names, I'm not surprised to see them involved. Taniguchi is regularly involved as a sound designer, while Shinji Hosoe and Takahiro Eguchi has only previously worked on Giga Wrecker and Pokémon Quest.
