Some of them. Ditto and Cofagrigus were great in gen 6. Some are terrible and always will be (tropius).

Somewhat. Though, I don't usually go near that scene BECAUSE I want to use and/or win with my favorites.~~I also don't find the stuff that goes into competitive play to be very fun, either, but that's neither here nor there.~~
