Finished the game. It's everything good from PLA but better. After finishing, I think it's undisputed the best Pokémon game.

Not trying to sound rude, but what's so great about the game? I'm still feeling burned by SV but I enjoyed Arceus, so I'm still on the fence about buying it. I would try to hunt down the files and try it myself but I don't think my computer can handle Switch emulation.

OP's just trolling. It's fun. I think hardcore Pokemon fans will enjoy it. Lots of cute references to older games and lore. Casual fans or people who don't like active battling may not like this game as much. The gameplay loop IS different. It's closer to Arceus than the mainline, but still pretty different to Arceus itself. More focus on battles and exploring than catching and exploring
