It turns out I'm rewatching XY critically, and I forgot how much character building it had compared to the rest of the series. It really made you think that it was meant to be the finale.
I would say wait for a future DLC but seeing the leaked Gamefreak roadmap where the development of Legends Z-A (Ikkaku) ENDS on 2025, I think there's no hope bro.
