They probably aren't sure how the hell they want to handle Unova because they backed themselves in a corner with the source material. It was pretty clear after the Indigo disk with how obvious the references were, that this was their best attempt for now and we wouldn't see anything more for quite some time. When they actually foreshadow it's more subtle.And personally I'm fine with it as a Unova lover. Imagine only liking one Gen so much that you are closed to more content for other regions or don't have other series that you're into.

>>58399098I'm not one of these people.Remakes went downhill starting from ORAS (which is fine in retrospect when compared to the absolute shitshow of LGPE, BDSP etc), and BW2 was still current time pokemon to me at the at ORAS release. So I never had the "chance" to beg for a remake/BW3 that would ruin Unova with [CURRENT GEN GIMMICK] anyway.
