if they don't fuck up Champions, I think us adults should stick to that and nothing else. The mainline is for stupid kids and stupid kids alone and this procedural generation approach instantly raises the red flag for me that they want to eventually incorporate AI slop which is an internet meltdown shitstorm that I'm not excited to see. We need to move on to the many monster franchises that target older audiences that exist purely off of SOVL because the soul of Pokémon is gasping for air
