Post your teams. From the official games, ROM hacks, fan games, whatever. I like seeing other people's teams. Here's mine, from Omega Ruby, about to fight Norman. Not sure what I want my 6th to be, but I'm thinking Wishcash.
I'm playing Gale of Darkness. I'm at the Shadow Pokemon Lair, but I just finished going through Mt. Battle 41-50.My team sucks ass. The main story battles are still super easy because I'm quite a bit overleveled, but I still can't beat round one of Realgam Tower and I really struggled against Mt. Battle 50. I was using a Shiftry but I swapped him with Claydol because he opened up too many Fighting weaknesses on the team, and with Early Bird as his ability he didn't add much either. Not sure who I'm going to use in the sixth slot. Almost all my Pokemon have awful natures which I know don't matter but trigger my autism hard. I'm eyeing up Kangashkhan (but that's another Fighting weakness...) and Altaria for upcoming Shadows, and if worse comes to worse I could slot in, Starmie, Salamence, or Lugia, but I'd like something before knocking on the final boss' door...
Emerald Legacy. Just about to fight 8th gym. Hack is okay, not the best and not the worst.>>58400375Solid picks across the board. How's Gallade?>>58400887Whats Claydol like? Cool to see, I've never used it before.
I think Hydrapple might be one of my all time favorite mons, bros...
been playing unbound on a recommendation from a friend because I was talking about how I wished for a pokemon campaign that wasn't braindead easy, liking it alot so far even if the writing is pretty fanficy. My starter was Beldum but I had too many physical attackers so I swapped em out for Abra. I want to dump Ninetails because I'm not exactly the most knowledgeable pokemon player and figured I could get snow warning naturally on hatching, when it's actually the hidden ability and I have no idea when I'll be getting an item that will let me access that. Kind of want an electric special attacker, but I might just say fuck it and run Electavire because he's one of my favorite pokemon. excuse the photo of my 3DS screen, I'm not transferring my save to PC just to post here
>>58400375Why do these threads always die out? Nobody actually plays the games here?
>>58401081Baltoy was okay in the first dungeon since Psybeam does decent damage for that part of the game and it gets pre-nerf Selfdestruct at Level 19, which I could only safely use because of Umbreon's defensive prowess. Around Pyrite-Phenac you really start to feel the 300 BST, and the evolution won't come for some time yet. I was planning to bench him for Growlithe but decided to grind him up and give him Psychic. Now he's alright; he can fight the most dangerous type for my team and set up Reflect or even explode when needed.
>>58401319It's probably all the pornfags and [CURRENT EVENT] mindbroken retards that keep the board afloat.
>>58400887Wish I could help, anon, but it's been too damn long since I've played the GC games. Good picks, btw.>NaturesEh, as long as they don't hinder it's main stats, I'll take it. My Gyarados is Mild.>>58401081>PlusleBased. Also, Gallade is pretty good so far, especially since I'm finally getting better moves for it. The fact that they're all level 35 (minus Trapinch) and super trained probably helps, too. Overleveling is too easy in ORAS, so you kinda just have to accept it unless you're using more than 6, but I want to beat Steven before Z-A comes out, so I'm just gonna keep on going.>>58401096Huh, what's going on here? Also, good taste. RM is my favorite of the paradox mons.>>58401100>UnboundHow is it? Been meaning to try that out. Also, good picks, but the levels being so wildly different is triggering my autism.>>58401319What >>58401342 said.
>>58401385I like to build gimmicky monotype teams.
>>58401385>How is it? Been meaning to try that out. Also, good picks, but the levels being so wildly different is triggering my autism.it's pretty fun, the trainer AI is actually not completely braindead on one of the harder difficulties, which you can very much customize to your liking. Like I'll use yawn and they'll actually swap out to avoid the sleep, and movepools have coverage so you can't just walk into a fight and expect to sweep unless you outspeed their entire team. as for my team being leveled weirdly, I did a total restructuring where I booted basically my entire team out and I haven't quite finished catching everyone else up. I was using a Boldor, Metang, Haunter, Slowbro and Swellow before I benched them all for my current team.
My champion team from my randomized Soulsilver run. Heatran was the replacement for Lugia, and Girafarig was shockingly not Gyarados, it was just a random encounter in Ice Path.>>58400375You could go for Whiscash, but IMO I think a Dark type could be a good addon. Maybe Crawdaunt or Intimidate Mightyena?>>58400887From what I remember there aren't that many fighting types in XD's endgame. There's Gorigan's Poliwrath and a pair of Hitmons, but they're not that scary. Dodrio, though, would patch that up while also being probably the 3rd best flying type available, after Mence and Lugia, but it's also way earlier with better Flying STAB.
>>58401519Ah, alright. Sounds fun.>>58401520I like the sound of this.>as for my team being leveled weirdly, I did a total restructuring where I booted basically my entire team out and I haven't quite finished catching everyone else up.That seems like a lot of work. Great choices on both teams, though.>>58402208>Mr. Mime.Automatic 10/10. I have weird taste.>You could go for Whiscash, but IMO I think a Dark type could be a good addon. Maybe Crawdaunt or Intimidate Mightyena?I did have a Mightyena for a while, but I didn't realize it had Quick Feet until after it evolved, and I didn't want to raise another one. As for Crawdaunt... I might go for that, actually.
