I like both Dragon and Fairy types.
>>
No because gen 5 started adding black people into the game and that was before Fairies. Also, fairy mons pre-fairy were already fan favorites, like Gardevoir and Jigglypuff.
>>
I don't know, I never played the games beyond Gen 5.

Dark was never OP. Fighting would always OHKO it. Dark has no defensive Pokemon.

Dark wasn't overpowered in the slightest.
>Strongest attacks were 80bp
>Resisted by Steel, the best type in the game
>Most Dark types had poor move pools with few coverage options
>Clapped by the ever-present Fighting types + U-turn

The only good Dark types were Tyranitar, which has an effective BST in line Kyogre/Groudon ever since Sand started buffing its SpD, Hydreigon, and Weavile.

Dragon wasn't overpowered either, for what it's worth. The only types that were overpowered were Fighting and Steel

No matter what zoomer revisionists try to tell you, if it has fairy types, its a nugen. Simple as

Granbull went from being one of my top 20 favorite Pokemon to being a Pokemon I never use any more because it became a Fairy type. I hate Fairy so much I refuse to use any of them.
