Masuda reusing the world ending legendary/evil team/adventure formula wasn't ideal, but at the end of the day it's simple. As such it's less annoying when it's reused. >>58406962idk but Ohmori taking over as director pretty much marks the point where I fell out of love with the series. I don't like any of his games except maybe ORAS, which is really just a Masuda game in a new coat of paint. Masuda was far from perfect either but even at his lowest point in XY I was still optimistic about the series. I just don't connect with Ohmori's vision for the franchise at all and haven't looked forward to anything since he's been in charge.

But people are frustrated by the cutscenes, handholding, etc... A pokemon game is suppose to be your adventure. Not you babysitting some one that has family issues.
