Thread question: now that literally everything has leaked, what's your overall opinion of Legends ZA?
>>
>>58402006
You have options at least. Kinda curious what Duskull and Feebas can do.
>>
Bump.
>>
Guess everyone is discussing the leaks and everything. Leak season is always rough on the thread.
>>
I wish I was playing more but my friend gave me a good gaming laptop so White 2 has been an afterthought this past month... forgive me...

I've been in that situation before, playing other games instead of finishing a run. You'll get back to it soon, and you'll be refreshed for the run too.
>>
>>58413423
Yep, I had a Brilliant Diamond run I took like a year off from. Came back and lost on a double KO against Cynthia’s Garchomp.

I've decided to not include levelups during the battles in the write-up anymore. Takes up unnecessary place.

>Vs Oleana
>Froslass
Froslass hits Punky with Hex, then immediately falls to Flamethrower.
>Milotic
Candyfloss gets in on Surf, and Absorb Bulb gives her a SpA buff.
I set up Light Screen, Oleana sets up Aqua Ring.
Two Giga Drains gets it done, with only a Safeguard inbetween.
>Salazzle
Punky in on Venoshock.
Poison Gas poisons her, but Scorching Sands make short work of the lizard.
>Tsareena
Two turns of Trop Kick and Flamethrower, and Punky comes out on top.
>Gigantamax Garbodor
Korramoron gets in for free on a Max Quake, wasting one of Garbodors Max Turns.
Smiss gets in on Max Rockfall.
Max Quake has her eat her Sitrus Berry, but then she hits Will-O-Wisp, guaranteeing the win here.
Stomping Tantrum does very little, and an Earthquake Burn damage gets the KO.

Not proud of this next fight, I messed up pretty hard.

Vs Bede
>Mawile (Intimidate)
I start off with Punky, plan being to get a bunch of additional bulk using Dynamax while healing up using Leftovers.
Mawile Iron Heads, then falls to Max Quake (SpD Up)
>Gardevoir
It does a reasonable chunk with Psychic before getting hit by Max Rockfall, which also sets up Sandstorm.
The next Psychic doesn't do that much, and Max Quake finishes off Gardevoir, grabbing another SpD Up.
>Galarian Rapidash
Things don't go according to plan here. Rapidash just uses Psycho Cut twice as I have Punky use Meteor Beam to Power Up and then blast it away.
The attacks don't do that much damage, but still quite a bit more than Leftovers can heal, and I go into the final mon below half health.
>Hatterene
Flamethrower does quite a bit, but below half. Max Mindstorm does a decent bit of damage, and sets up Psychic Terrain, guaranteeing a KO on Punky next turn.
I don't have good options here. Few of my mons can switch in, and most of them likely die to the second hit. I decide the best option is Flamethrower, hoping for a crit or that I rolled low last turn and will roll high now.
It puts Hatterene in the red, as Punky falls to Max Mindstorm.
I send Korramoron next - this was stupid. Should have gone with Hungry.
Beded uses a Full Restore, I use Surf, getting a fish for Gulp Missile.
Another Surf, but then Hatterene gets a Psychic Crit for an easy KO(realistically, it did not need it with Psychic Terrain boosting). Gulp Missile still fires for Damage and a Defense Drop.
Tia gets to clean up with a Trop Kick.

Two mons lost vs Bede, one being my Vice Captain(Dynamax user). I'm counting that as being without a Dynamax user for the rest of the matches.

These guys are now used in place of Korramoron and Punky.

Vs Nessa
>Golisopod
Tia sets up Reflect as the bug Swords Dances.
She Trop Kicks it, and it hits back with Liquidation.
Another Trop Kick causes an Emergency Exit.
>Seaking
Oneshot by Trop Kick.
>Golisopod Again
Falls to Trop Kick.
>Pelipper (Drizzle)
I send Kitamura in on Tailwind.
Pelipper uses Water Pulse but falls to Zing Zap.
>Barraskewda
I swap Tia in on Drill Run, and Reflect Fades.
Barraskewda uses a nasty Ice Fang before falling to Trop Kick.
>Gigantamax Drednaw
A somewhat risky Reflect, as Max Darkness puts Tia into the red.
I send Candyfloss in on a Max Rockfall.
Two Giga Drains with a Max Rockfall inbetween ends the match.

Note: Swapped Shell Side Arm for Psychic on Hungry for Bea.
>Vs Bea
>Hawlucha
It uses Bounce, causing Hungry's Psychic to miss.
Bounce Hits, but then Psychic makes short work of Hawlucha.
>Sirfetch'd
It hits a Brutal Swing, then falls to Psychic.
>Grapploct
It uses Octolock on Hungry as she Slacks Off, causing a Defense Drop.
A Quick Draw Psychic then takes out Grapploct.
>Falinks
I send in Candyfloss in on Bulk Up.
Moonblast oneshots.
>Gigantamax Machamp
Candyfloss cuts its power severely with Charm, eating a Max Flare for the trouble.
I swap in Hungry, on the next Max Flare.
Hungry gets a Quick Draw Psychic that also causes a SpD Drop(that is a lucky draw alright), and Machamp uses Max Strike.
Machamp tries a Fire Punch, but falls to Psychic.
>>

Final Match of the tournament:
>Vs Raihan
>Torkoal
Hungry uses Psychic twice to beat it(better choice over Earthquake because of Torkoal's defensive stats), but falls asleep due to Yawn.
>Flygon
I send Candyfloss in on Sandstorm, then oneshot with Moonblast.
>Turtonator
Moonblast does a bit above half, and it uses Sunny Day.
Next it uses Shell Trap, but it falls to Moonblast.
Slightly risky choice - if Moonblast could roll low and not KO(unsure) and Turtonator had gone for Fire Blast, I could have lost Candyfloss.
>Goodra
Moonblast puts it into the yellow, and it sets up Rain Dance.
I swap in Tia on Muddy Water.
She sets up both screens while getting hit with more Muddy Water.
Uncle Sam comes in on a Surf, the Rain stops, and Flame Orb burns.
Goodra Rain Dances, Sam Bulks Up.
Surf does a decent number, but Drain Punch takes out Goodra.
>Gigantamax Duraludon
It hits pretty hard with Max Steelspike, but Drain Punch easily absorbs it all back.
G-Max Depletion can't save Raihan, as Uncle Sam Drain Punches Duraludon into oblivion.
>>
>>58413688
That's a rough way to lose. I took a couple years of a HeartGold run, but it was one of the games I ran hard back in the day, so it was just general burnout that led to me dropping it. It also wasn't nearly as long as the LeafGreen run a couple threads back.
>>
For those of you playing it, how is ZA shaping up for a Nuzlocke?
