It is 100% going to be a thing. Idk if it keeps the MMO aspect (with likely an option for single player) pokejapan with the first 4 regions + extras is pretty much the best place to do it because they are all in the same continent and the lore is all interconnected.

The MMO stuff is probably not an MMO in the traditional sense but more in that you'll be able to play in real time with friends. A Pokemon MMO would see a larger pedophile population than Roblox.
