To this day I have never searched up the Ed Sheeran song that was in the game. I don't even know what songs he's made, I've probably heard some but I've never looked for them either. Some might sound good, maybe even SV's song, but I frankly hate it on the principle that it would be put into the game. It's such artificial, commercial bullshit. Yes, I know Japan does this shit, they take popular western songs and put them in their media, but it's so fucking tacky and tasteless for Pokémon of all things. This isn't what Pokémon is. Hell, Stand By Me was a major influence on Pokémon and it's also an extremely popular movie and song in Japan that's influenced so many other things, but I wouldn't want even it to play in a Pokémon game.
