I've been a bit out of Pokemon recently only really back to read up on new megas and za leaks until I realized that this dude is completely missing from like everything, even the anime. In fact a lot of Gen8 mons are but this one feels significant since it was basically shilled everywhere during SS

He's been still being shilled a lot in Gen 9 with merch and cards, he's just not in ZA and he already has a GMax, so no need for a Mega, also his region is getting another game based on the leaks, so expect for him to get shilled even harder.
