So I just dumped them on a local card shop and washed my hands of it. Rather spend the money getting just the cards I want and not worry about all the junk.
>>58445848Same, I just save them for conventions or shows and end up trading them, usually at some sort of value below market. None-the-less I still try to apply what I paid for it vs how much im getting out of it vs what im getting. For myself, I buy a modern product, sometimes rip, sometimes keep it sealed. Maybe it goes up in value between conventions, trade it for something I actually do want. The vendor gets additional product(s) at a lower value from myself, and I get something I consider worth having. Everyones happy.
I feel like my 151 binder can finally rest easy, seeing as how the reprints of 151 cards seems to have eased off with the holiday calender being seemingly the last of the variants with snowflake pikachu and eevee. The trainers toolkit contains no 151 variants and we seemingly didnt get trick or trade variants either. (A shame because there are no 151 variants with a pumpkin pikachu stamp, and I sorta wished we atleast got one to spice up the binder with a little more).Ultra Ball League Stamp Mew and the Professor Voltorbs will always be the chase cards of the set, that ill seemingly never fill.

Overprotecting your cards makes them weaker.I bend my cards every day to make them stronger. My shadowless Charizard went from played to mint in just a couple months.

The grading companies all have their imperfections.I think their one true weakness is that they are a jack of all trades in terms of what kind of cards they grade.I think a grading company dedicated strictly to pokemon would supercede all other grading companies in terms of favorability.

I think those tariff warnings on ebay about paying extra when a delivery arrives are bullshit I've bought two things so far with that warning and haven't had to do anything extra. Maybe it's because they were small/cheap cards I don't fucking know
