I enjoyed the games when they came out, as opposed to BW/BW2 which felt weird and unnatural to play, despite some retards calling them the best in the series, because of the overall stylistic change and terrible fakemon looking Pokedex. I've never disliked XY and don't understand people hating them at all.tl;dr Literally the last good entries in the franchise, overhated for no justifiable reason. The character customization and online features were cool, megas were cool, the region had some nice and memorable, characteristic areas/towns sort of akin to what they did with Sinnoh (the previous best generation).

Snowbelle sure isn't, it's no real better than Snowpoint city and suffers heavily from Kalos' New Super Mario Bros. map by just being a fuckin random ass snowy town that immediately transitions into grassy fields. Best E4 rooms is true even if the E4 sucked. Tower of Mastery looks like a Dr. Seuss reject design and amounts to a hallwayI'll give you 2/4, none of which is really better than Lumiose regardless where it's obvious they put most of the effort into that area.
