It feels typical for Canari to be a light brown person (possibly just a naturally pale person with a tan), but novel for Jacinthe to be a black skinned oujo sama. If Canari was darker, I’d like her more. If Jacinthe was lighter? I think I’d actually like her less if she wasn’t at least as dark as Nessa, or Marina from Splatoon. The color contrast her design is built on is too low when you make her pale brown, and I flat out don’t think she looks good at all when you just make her a white woman
