There are some interesting quirks of the battle system being adapted from the main games but also dropping turns in favour of time based ticks. Since effects on a tick will continue to apply even outside of battle, there's some funny stuff, like how a Pokemon out of its Pokeball holding a Leftovers will keep healing to full even after battle

Just finished the main story, along with most of the side quests. I think I enjoyed my time with Arceus more. Which is a little disappointing because I like the city setting and the real time battling. My problem was that Arceus gave you big areas to keep on the lookout for new Pokemon while Z-A had you bouncing back and forth between the same spots and depending on what you've caught & leveled a new wild area might barely provide anything new. So Z-A's gameplay loop took less time to start feeling redundant. That being said I really grew to like this game's characters and how they join you for fights. I'm looking forward to whatever the next Legends game is and would like to zip through the story again with a new team in the near future.

This happened to me in SV tho, but worse, the character slided in between collision limits of two walls and I could see how the whole map but Area Zero was connected and could surf under everyone and it was likea no clip mode. Area Zero being some weird cloud vortex was cool to witness tho

I feel like have multiple moves of your main stab in beneficial in this game with the new battle system. You usually don't KO with 1 move, so have 2 you can use back to back seems better imo.
Pokemon that change types when Mega evolving feel kinda awkward in this game when you're not going to be in Mega all the time, so if you build around it specifically it might bite you in online when you have to build up Mega first.
