Reminder that you can used charged TMs to give Emboar, Meganium, and Feraligtr their best moves. And that if you evolve their prevos into them they also gain the best moves.
May not be a shundo, but gotta say that raid day left me one happy camper. And I still have the space rock from the first time around so sitting on two of them. Not sure if I should use it for the shiny or wait for a possible fug rerun in the future. Either way, this kicks ass. Running around all day, almost 3k mega energy, meeting other people and adding them as friends. Love it.

Alright, I’m ready to say it:>Shadow Mewtwo is pretty underwhelming in endgame Pokémon Go.>Thunderbolt Shadow Mewtwo ranks around #20 in Electric DPS.>Ice Beam Shadow Mewtwo hits #6 in Ice DPS against targets with double weakness, like Rayquaza, but it’s still outclassed by three other regular Shadow Pokémon. Against single-weakness targets, like Latias, it barely cracks the top 30.>Flamethrower Shadow Mewtwo isn’t even close to the top 30 in Fire DPS.>Shadow Ball Shadow Mewtwo lands around #13 in Ghost/Dark DPS.>Psychic DPS is theoretically number one, but there’s almost no practical use for it: Virizion is double-weak to Flying, Eternatus isn’t in raids, and the Galarian Wolves outperform it against Terrakion.>In PvP, Shadow Mewtwo used to be decent, but now it’s mid at best with the recent Dragon tail/Dragon Breath buff.I mean it's still a solid mon and not a waste of stardust and candy, but my army of 3 Shadowtwos has been effectively a B-team to C-team for like a year now. It's a no-lose situation for Niantic. Same is gonna happen with the Mega Mewtwos (which will at least have som edge over the competition).

>>58451283With the recent Gold/Silver caps, even IVs can be technically improved, but those are 2 expensive and not readily available items so I wouldn't rely on having either.Other that that there's the move Hidden Power that is randomly given a type depending on the Pokémon that has it (not the species, the Pokémon). It's not really amazing, but it's good to have a good type in the case of Shadow Regigigas for example.

Fairy has been a complete disaster and will continue to be. The only good thing it is was make poison not completely ass but even then fire just does the job better because it's super effective VS grass and Fairy too while not getting giga cucked by steel (actually it pwns steel). The introduction of Fairy did dethrone dragon but just solidified all the other good types while make all the other bad types worse. And it also just completely shat on psychic by stealing both it's aesthetic and combat niche.I fucking hate Fairy.
>>58451033Mega Gardevoir is the best Fairy attacker (I hate Fairy but I love my Gardewife) so yeah it's worth it. Also a solid ice attacker. Made her my star against Rayquaza. Her super resistance against dragon + Triple Axil just gave her an amazing TOD.

>>58451033Its generally fine. The in PvE the difference in stats between a 14 IV and a 15 IV is genuinely negligible. In PvP it might mean the difference between a win and a loss, but Gardevoir isn't particularly amazing in PvP anyway so its not much of a loss.

Very defensively oriented for a type which aesthetically feels more offensive.Poison should have also hit bug or water or something. Or Dragon. If poison hit Dragon then Fairy would have never needed to exist.I made a little autism chart of an ideal world where Pokémon never got Fairy and instead had a light type. For this to really work I imagine that all types would have existed since gen 1.Light is more of a counter against dark, but in turn dark actually resists fighting and hits fighting for neutral. But Psychic is immune to light and hits it for super effective. So there's an interesting immunity circle where Dark is immune to Psychic which is immune to Light which is Immune to Dark. Light is then also SE to Dragon. And Bug, Fire, Electric, and Dragon are NVE to light. But Light is NVE against Fire, Electric, and Grass. And Grass is SE to Light.
