I don't really agree with him. Those things don't help, sure. But think about why people liked the previous Legends.. different time period, vast wilderness, dangerous feeling pokemon, rideable pokemon etc.. Z-A feels like a total 180 being confined to just a city and switching the focus to battles when they were more scarce in PLA. Z-A also has people believe that because it came after a gap year abd seemingly had an extra year in the oven that it would be kino which clearly isn't the case. Its also the "Z" version people wanted all these years yet doesn't include most of the region and ignores 95% of the XY cast.There was a lot riding on this game as a PLA and XY follow up and the end result is simply underwhelming.
