Idk, some of these mega fan designs really just don't GET the pokemon they're basing it on. Not saying everything GF touches is gold, but alot of these fan designs feel like they're made by people who personally don't care about the mon itself.

What these fan designs don't get is that the mon look too cool. You see, kids are incapable of liking or dealing with excessive coolness or excessive beauty, it could overwhelm them! So it all needs to be passed through a goofy filter to be more palatable for modern audiences.Besides, if you were to release a bunch of awesome designs, it would have a negative impact on the sunk cost loop GF has been trying to maintain.
