>>58482004ZA has random side quests that pop up like substories, sure, and some are pretty silly (like the guy who gets webbed up by his spinarak) but the vast majority are really basic fetch quests or battles. Game Freak doesn’t understand what makes yakuza’s format work: people stop and do substories between main missions because they’re funny, cheesy, interesting bits of content. It’s not just some random jagoff saying “hey I have the best normal type pokemon, fight my normal team” and then saying “welp I guess I should use more types” afterward. If the yakuza writers did it, they would have a whole story about him using normal types because it was something his daughter asked him to, or something sweet like that and you’d be drawn in. I just run past most side quests in ZA to be honest.
