Dragons Maw is a signature ability for a legendary. Why do people think Gatr will get it?
On one hand, Strong Jaw would be really bad on Feraligatr because it doesn't get any STAB biting moves.On the other hand, giving it Strong Jaw would be extremely in character for this exact reason.
