>Game opens with you on the train with your destination being outside of Lumiose City>Suddenly a rouge mega appears and attacks the train>In the chaos a man in exosuit arrives to fight the Rogue Mega>The damage to the train and the tracks is severe and the train is stuck at the Lumiose location>You get off and enter the city where Taunie is desperately trying to film a commercial for the hotel but she’s being ignored by everyone due to the commotion of the train incident>She walks up to you and asks if you have a place to stay and offers you a free room if you help her film a commercial>While you’re filming your things get stolen>You and Taunie give chase and she says you’ll have to battle>You reveal you have no pokemon so she lets you borrow one of hers>You win and she says it’s not safe to travel around Lumiose without a pokemon and lets you hold onto the one you picked>You get trapped in the Battle Zone and Floette shows up like normal>You arrive at the hotel where you meet AZ and the others and things proceed as normal except AZ has more part in the strategy meetings and has a sidequest series>Grateful to Taunie and AZ, you decide to help them out since you’re stuck in Lumiose anyway>You enter your first Battle Royal and move up a rank>The first three ranks proceed as normal until you get to W>Taunie is noticeably tired after every Battle Royal as she stays out all night competing>The others tell her to rest but she says resting isn’t an option>Taunie returns the morning you reach V and collapses in the lobby>She’s clearly exhausted and says she ran across the rookie killer, a powerful trainer who refuses promotion matches>You enter the Battle Royal that night and meet Grisham for the first time and he gives you a forced loss with his Megas
>>58489555>He tells you the Battle Royal isn’t a place for weaklings and sends you packing for the night>Instead of getting a call from Vinnie there’s an announcement from Quasartico that they will be hosting a rank up tournament where ranks W-P will compete in single elimination matches and the winner will obtain O ranking>You win the tournament and catch the eye of Vinnie who reveals the tournament was held because the rookie killer was sandbagging everyone’s progression>The next round has you face Grisham who beats you in promotion match since his rookie killing no longer works he just has to progress as normal>After your match with Grisham you’re attacked by a Rogue Mega and do your best to survive and are rescued by the Exosuit man from the train>The exosuit man disappears as quickly as he arrived>You talk to Emma and notice her suit is the same>Emma says she wasn’t the only test subject and that there are a couple others just like her, but most of them left Kalos>Mega Absol pops up and AZ lets you borrow Lucario>After beating and catching Absol, Vinnie calls and you’re invited to Quasartico>Jett explains that they would like to recruit you and Taunie >Taunie jokingly asks how much they will pay>You return to the hotel where Naveen is upset that his designs are getting stolen and that he’s losing sales to bootlegs>The Canari arc goes as normal except Taunie tries getting her to autograph a bunch of merch to which Naveen protests>Lida says she wants to evolve her Staryu but that all her dance money has been going into helping the hotel>Having beaten Canari on stream, your popularity explodes and Quasartico decides to have you as the guest of honor in a gauntlet match against rank trainers>You enter the gauntlet and reach H>Vinnie then challenges you to a battle and you jump to F>Arcs proceed as normal with AZ sidequests in between

AZ tells Lysandre they were both selfish men but that every day is a chance for redemption>A rank match proceeds with the group unable to locate the A Rank Exosuit man>Emma provides some clues and the group replicates the energy output of a Rogue Mega>The Exosuit man arrives and Emma confronts him knowing it’s Grisham>Grisham reveals himself and you win A Rank>The final night happens>AZ tells you to go ahead without him as he is too slow and tired>You battle Taunie over who goes with Floette>Despite winning Taunie still goes stating she doesn’t want you getting hurt in case Zygarde is needed>The game proceeds as normal with Agne going crazy >You want to go after Taunie and make sure she’s safe but a zone similar to Jacinthe’s appears and covers the sky as well>She appears and tells you she’s not in charge of it >AZ appears wearing Lysandre’s machine and an exosuit he had Lysandre design>He says that Agne is using the battle zone tech to protect itself and that you’ll have to proceed on foot as the battle zone perimeters are blocking sky travel>AZ then uses the strength of the Exosuit to temporarily cut through the barrier, it takes a great toll on his body

I wish the story was more like this OP, nice work. If gamefreak had even a quarter the writing talent of the weakest fanfiction writer, Pokemon could actually have a good story one day. Post game should include cameos from a couple XY characters at the minimum.
