I made this one a while ago. I plan on using it for my own monster catcher game i started making. It starts as a sickly bird that's the runt of its litter and gets bullied by the other birds, then it dies but becomes a ghost type out of a desire for revenge, then it matures and instead focuses on defending others who are weak and becomes ghost/fighting. the non-sickly version of the original will have a different evo line

Way back in 2011, I had the idea of designing the Glitch Pokemon as "reflections" of real Pokemon, based on the fact that when traded over to Gen 2, they become new guys in addition to them being deleted Pokemon themselves, it's been something in the back of my head that various factors have behooved me to start to share publicly, here's a small slice of the Distortion Dex.

It just feels like it belongs, like there are so many Normal-type moves that could be made a million times better with the addition of a Sound type, while turning Soundproof into a sort of clone of Levitate, giving a sweeping protection against an entire type while also including shit like Metal Sound and Grasswhistle.

Doesn't it feel like, to you, that Sound was supposed to be in Gen 3 but just wasn't? Chimecho could easily be a Sound/Psychic type and it'd make him a million times better.

Sound exists as a type in Eternal Soldier, a Pokemon comic I do when I can. It's hard though, I also work on personal projects, and a whole load of other things too, so it's pretty slow going.

Still, it's best I feel, that I continue with my own, personal interpretation of the Pokemon series. It really hasn't been what I remember it in recent years, writers like Takeshi Shudo injecting so much of their selves into the franchise isn't really something that happens often anymore.

Missingno was such a big talking point between me, my sister, and my cousins that, when my cousin was grown and playing Pokemon Go with his kid, he asks me one day

"Hey, where's Missingno? I can't find him, he exclusive to somewhere like Mewtwo?"

...he thought Missingno was real. Me, my sister, and him, we all talked about him so much he thought he was a real Pokemon.

It's YOUR journey with Pokemon that matters, fellas. So much of the game is built around making it your own, so wave that flag.

It's not really something I'd know how to do, I tried making a Pokemon fangame once, but coding is a whole pain in the ass, I flew too close to the sun and tried to give Aipom and Tropius a new move called "Bananarang" and it broke the game irreparably. I just gave up, I'm better at making comics.

I tried making it the colour of the lined paper it was drawn on, resorting to a slight off-white instead of pure white. Not sure if to anon's preference but herre we go.
