>>58492297That wouldn't line up with Leon being dethroned from being a champion.Also when people say "five years ago" a lot of times they don't mean exactly five years ago, they usually mean the range of five years ago but not quite six years ago unless they are autistic and would tell you the exact years, months and weeks when something happened.Also XY doesn't explicitly take place in October 2013, it is possible that the exact timeline for it could be 2014 or even 2015. The only thing that we have to go off of in terms of time periods are the consoles that players have in their room and even then that's a bit sticky due to remakes, but this means that Sword and Shield have to take place at least after 2017. Sword and Shield and its events definitely happened first.
