If the characters were to return to Kalos at any time, do you think it would be in the anime before it ends or in a Kalos movie? I doubt it would be explicitly a ZA adaptation as the Horizons doesn't do that but instead it would be a movie that features characters from ZA and is maybe set in Lumiose after the events of the game.
The fact that Roys wants to keep traveling and become stronger yet doesn't have a proper goal per se is a bit puzzling. Most trainers choose something like Gyms or Contests. But Roy aims to become strong by simply traveling around the world?
