GSC shiny sandslash would in my opinion be a better shiny variation for Sandslash - it's bizarre how from gen 3 onwards its shiny completely changed color upon evolution despite the non-shiny form remaining mostly the same color wise
I do think it'd be neat if mons started getting alternate shiny palettes that could appear on newly generated pokemon instead of the regular shiny form for cases like these, because some might like the existing shiny of something and others would want a replacement
Probably not actually happening because smarr indie company prease undastand though
