Standard or Greengrass?Standard-only species:RattataEkansDiglettPsyduckMankeyBellsproutGeodudeSlowpokeIgglybuffTogepiWooper (regular)GulpinWynaut.Expert-only species:A. VulpixOnixRaltsSableyeAronSnover.Gastly isn't normally on Expert, but it's being added for the event. And of course there are boosts for Ghost types, so I don't expect THAT much of a difference in spawns even if Expert just has a better pool overall. Since there aren't any additional candy bonuses for Expert, it may be worth just going to regular Greengrass to have maximum spawns sooner and higher rarity spawns for the end of the week. You won't have access to as many 3* styles, but it should balance out by just spawning more evolved Pokemon during your Sleep Research.
I'll probably go OGPP, I'm really hunting an ABB grubin and need aron and mawile candies. I usually have slumbering sleep so the pseduo-balanced sleep will really help. The downside is my area bonus will be 38%, so I won't get many spawns early in the week.
>>58510485>I'll probably go OGPPWon't you miss on the 2x research candy since the event is only in Greengrass?
>>58510604oh youre right, guess ill do greengrass
>>58510227I guess I'll stick to GG standard, I lack a strong ghost team
>>58510934Eh, same. Still looking for upgrades that hopefully don't need more than 1 Subskill seed.
Wonder what this meant. I was on Expert, but I'm not aware of any spawn bonuses.
I can’t decide which one should I go with. Rolled dessert so apples are a must
zzzzzzzzz
Thanks for making a new thread>>58512370I reckon left one from 30, I don't think its great long term missing AAA, but I reckon it would be useful in the short term
i like these events that guarantee a berry, you can switch your team the night before they start so you get favoured berries on wakeup
Expert berries this week are Ghost, Ice, Psychic, with 2.4x berry strength. Got my GCT going, this should be a nice easy week with Gengar and Walrein, and my BFS Gardevoir can finally get some time on my team.I rolled Desserts, I've put Pumpkaboo on my team so I can unlock pumpkins for ingredient magnet.I've completely exhausted the biscuits from the sleep exchange this month however, and the event missions this week only give 5 biscuits after using 7 incense. I may be forced to buy a few diamonds to buy a small bundle of biscuits, as I've even exhausted my diamonds recently.Anyone else finding themselves getting more sleep exchange biscuits than usual these past few months?
>>58512696>Anyone else finding themselves getting more sleep exchange biscuits than usual these past few months?yeah, I'm getting one most days just to complete the 15 biscuits in a week mission because I only get them as the free daily item once or twice a week now
holy shit
>>58513431C'mon anon, what is it? Is it something useful or a top tier shitmon?
>>58513452wigglytuff. my pawmot is not great not terrible so i'll take this for now.
I'm new to this game. Is this the shiny animation? I can't tell by color because it's a Pichu and I think it was hungry when encountered anyway.
>>58513553yes it is
>>58513145Yeah, getting the daily free biscuit certainly feels rarer, it's possible they silently adjusted the odds.I don't recommend aiming for the "use 15 biscuits" mission though, it's only 3 handy candy S.Myself, I've been getting a lot more spawns that I actually want, I think that's just down to how expert GG is more likely to give you desirable base stage Pokémon.>>58513525Show us the Wigglytuff so we can make an actual judgement. It's probably good if Raenonx is rating it based on expected daily skill triggers, guessing it has optimal nature and subskills?Long term, you're going to want a pick of good Wigglytuff / Sylveon, Gardevoir, and Pawmot anyway because of expert mode.>>58513553Yes that's the shiny animation. With Pichu, you can tell its shiny coloration by it being more vibrant and closer to Pikachu, Pichu has paler fur.To be honest, as an accessibility feature the game really needs to display the standard shiny icon, especially at feeding time. The fact that shinies are guaranteed hungry and instant friendship with any biscuit should also be made extra obvious.A lot of people have accidentally lost shinies because they were half asleep when checking their sleep results.
>>58513553if youre new you should know that shinies are always an instant catch, so you can throw a basic biscuit every time
>>58513591there you go. i'm still miles away from GGEX, i just had my first week of snowdrop tundra last week. also, do i prioritize e4e mons when it comes to main skill shards?
>>58513647Yup, that is a bonafide perfect Wigglytuff. It's actually pretty similar to mine, The energy recovery penalty shouldn't impact its own performance, you should focus on giving it main skill seeds ASAP. You'll probably use this on most islands for the foreseeable future, except maybe Old Gold Power Plant where you might use your Pawmot instead due to the berry advantage. For most new players, getting an E4E healer running is the first priority because it's universally beneficial. Here's a tip about the premium two week trial. You want to start the trial when it will overlap two calendar months, so you have access to two stocks of premium items. You also want to make sure you've saved up enough sleep points to be able to purchase two main skill seeds and any other good items like cheap biscuits, handy candies, and subskill seeds. I don't recommend buying the skill seed in the regular exchange, it's far too expensive. Also, don't waste your sleep points on ingredient tickets or dream shard clusters, it won't be worth it, and the game gives you plenty of these over time anyway.
>>58513750Is buying master biscuits from the regular exchange important at all?
>>58513912legendaries are 30 pips, 30 biscuits from the sleep point shop would be 4500, and the master biscuit is 4000. so if you're catching a legendary from nothing, the master biscuit is goodbut i don't think i've ever encountered a legendary outside of an event, which usually have a bunch of specialised biscuits available that give 6 pipsthat being said, the events so far have given you lots of chances to catch, so if you combine master biscuits and the specialised biscuits, you can catch more than usual, especially if you've been saving master biscuitsthe real problem is that almost every pokemon you get is ass, so i think it's mostly player preference on whether they want to roll a little more on the legendaries, or a lot more on regular pokemoni like getting the master biscuit, but it's probably not 'optimal'
>>58514020>legendaries are 30 pips, 30 biscuits from the sleep point shop would be 4500, and the master biscuit is 4000. so if you're catching a legendary from nothing, the master biscuit is goodFeeding a legendary 30 regular biscuits is a highly unrealistic scenario anyway. When you feed a Pokémon, you've got a 100% chance to feed two biscuits, and then 50/50 odds on each subsequent feeding that you can feed again. For legendary encounters, you're most likely going to give it your bonus biscuit first, and then stronger biscuits like great biscuits if you have them. The main value of the regular biscuits is that you usually only need one atop of a premium bonus biscuit, to befriend any 5-pip encounter, thereby letting you befriend at least one Pokémon per day on most days. There's also the 10 biscuits you can get for 100 points each from the premium ship.I would generally say that the master biscuit is a poor value proposition, and it's pretty annoying that the game's tutorial forces you to use a free master biscuit instead of saving it for when it would count.By the way, befriending evolved Pokémon is occasionally not recommended since they lose out on main skill levels, and the befriending cost is much higher. They do however bypass evolution requirements, including those that require items or sleeping time, so it can be worthwhile if you get a hungry Pokémon and their main skill is not important (e.g. berry specialists with Charge Strength).
>>58514267>Feeding a legendary 30 regular biscuits is a highly unrealistic scenario anyway.yeah, i was just mentioning it to establish probably the best value comparisonI also didn't mention the chances of crits and mega crits, which make poke biscuits better too
Stomp stomp stomp
I've been playing this daily since it came out and I still don't have a full friendlist. I need more friends.1667-2773-5965
>Have very good ghost helpers>Not enough candy to get them to at least lvl 50Makes me wish mini candy boost was a permanent thing.
Apparently Halloween Eevee is an Eevee that can get pumpkins. Looks like it's still a skill type, but has a lower skill trigger and ingredient rate than its standard form.
>>58515382That doesn't seem particularly useful, sadly. At least that one anon that runs a full Eevee team can run this, too. Also convenient if you didn't get a Pumpkaboo yet, just for unlocking the new ingredient. You need surprisingly few pumpkins to make the two new dishes, so it's well suited to ingredient magnets and tickets.Oh, and we're also getting avacados as a new ingredient when Amber Canyon unlocks. I'd expect Salamence to be the pseudo-legendary avacado ingredient specialist, following the trend from Tyranitar and Dragonite.
Went to GGEX and got Electric and Normal with Desserts, pretty lucky! Running my two Raichu ante a Gengar already covers a recipe with just the three. I'm also running my new Drifblim that I caught just last week, and I had managed to stock 41k on it before the week started.
