Do we think he's gonna be back in Gen 10 more than ever? He's a huge part of that iconic Pokemon sound, but he was barely present in SV despite being heavily in SwSh and PLA.

I hope so. I think Pokemon music is still great, but it's been a lot more inconsistent since the Switch era started. Legends ZA is the first game that I think has that consistent quality that the Ichinose led OSTs had. SwSh in particular has some high highs but equal lows. PLA was really good but a bit cacophonous at times. SV was alright

He simply is the Pokemon music GOAT along with Hitomi Sato. I hope he's doing well. He basically did the draft of PLA's OST all by himself on a whim as we saw in the teraleak, man's a musical genius

SwSh and SV had ridiculously mediocre soundtracks for the most part, I can only think of like three songs from those games that were particularly noteworthy.
ZA is a huge return to form for me. And don’t get me started on the remixes for the XY trainer and legendary themes, those go incredibly hard.
