The idea of a bigger skull isn’t great, but could’ve be done much better. Hell, even if they wanted to keep it the way it was done (imitating Totodile), there’s much ways it could’ve been executed. Why the hell does it just hang up like that? Who thought that looked good?Even normies I know hate it…one whose favorite line is Feraligatr and he told me he wishes it didn’t get a Mega.
I already thought it was kinda dumb when Megas for some reason regain parts of their previous evos (like Dragonite having wings on it's head and Metagross floating again) but Mega Feraligatr might be the worst offender of this. You know how Flygon didn't get a Mega because Sugimori couldn't come up with a design? Well I'd bet that happened here and this was the best they could come up with.
