What would be the best game for a run where Vaporeon is available somewhat early and can be used until endgame? Gen III-V preferrably.

Bit tired of FRLG runs, my most replayed game and the Eeveelution experience there has overlap with RBY too.What if we extended it to rom hacks but ones which don't stray far from main games? Don't want some completely new world or be overwhelmed with everything available in early routes.
There are fangames that let you pick Eevee as a starter, and maybe there are romhacks, too, and there's also a Chappy!

>>58521762>Vaporeon kinda sucks normallyDoes it? Depends on the game of course, but Shadow Ball is sometimes available early to mid game and it learns Aurora Beam and Water Pulse pretty early too. Then Surf and Ice Beam when you get them. Give it Leftovers and/or Water Veil and it's practically immortal for just going through the base game. Obviously won't be carrying in competitive, but I don't think OP cares about that.
Speed is low-ish but usable in-game with speed+ nature imo. Other stats are great, especially for the stage you get it, when enemies aren't using fully evolved rosters yet. 110 SpAtk Surf is also a force to be reckoned with. Being 100% safe from any random ohko is also nice if one is interested in nuzlockes.
