Does this mean a Gigantimax form for Serperior would come with a wavy weapon as well?
>>58519712Maybe like a wavy chakram with fleur de lis motifs. Now that I think about it Serperior really should have been the gen 5/grass rep, it has the most french influence on its design.
>>58519712In the Galar Legends game? I have my doubts. From those leaks the idea is to fight wild Gigantamax mons and invent the balls to actually capture them. How and why would be new Gigantamax forms 1000 years in the past? Of course a stupid excuse could be made, but again, the point of the game didn't seem like Giga vs. Giga, but defeating the Gigas.
>>58519734I thought the Megas would answer why they picked the starter trio that they did but now I'm just left with more questions than answers. Will Typhlosion/Serperior/Samurott get Megas in MD? Or will we just have a starter trio where one is missing a Mega from now on?
>>58519742>Or will we just have a starter trio where one is missing a Mega from now on?That will piss off a lot of autistic people.
>>58519712>Giga Serperior Giga Torterra
>>58519741They could use the exact same logic as in Arceus except a little bit more far fetched. >These gmax forms were only possible in Ancient Galar because of x condition at the time and they weren't in modern Galar because the trainer just didn't come across them. But oh! You can use them in Champions because Sonia's recently discovered them again after they popped back up>>58519742No because they don't follow patterns like that. The teraleak and everything made it clear that Game Freak chooses their projects based on their creative desires as well as development need/learning. Hence why they scrapped Legends Ho-oh/Lugia, because they felt they needed to learn something new despite the game fulfilling rheir creative desires. So they opted for ZA to practice making a modern open world city.
>>58519742>Will Typhlosion/Serperior/Samurott get Megas in MD?No, We allrady know all the megas in MD and they weren't on the list. Their last change at ever gettign megas will be some time in Gen 10 as a give away in Champions. Serperior is alrady getting a Gmax ig Legends Galar meaningn every one in the Magnum Opus trio has a unique thing, and Game Freak hates Typhlosion and never wanted it to be as popular as it is so they have no reason to give them megas.
>>58519712This is where muh job mons started
>>58519712GMax Serperior will be the most broken out of the three
Grass/Psychic G-MAX Serperior
>>58520405I have to wonder, What exactly created the narrative that>game freak never wanted typhlosion to be popularIt was basically the shillmon johto starter during gen 4 and the gold expy in the anime has one as his starter while his rival has Meganium for some reason. The one game freak wanted to be popular was Meganium while the one they hated for its popularity was Feraligatr who only got to star in the genesect movie as a wild pokemon who constantly jobbed.>typhlosion is the most popular johto starterThe polls at best put feraligatr and typhlosion close together, one never seemed far more popular than the other even in smaller polls made in places like here or gamefaqs. Generally speaking when someone liked one they also liked the other with Meganium being the contrarians favorite. Is it just mentally ill typedos?
>>58521300As for the game freak hates typhlosion narrative, you may be right.>The polls at best put feraligatr and typhlosion close together, one never seemed far more popularOkay now I wonder what polls you're looking at. On the google poll Typhlosion was the 4th most popular Johtomon while Feraligatr was all the way down at 16th place. In the recent japanese SV poll, Typhlosion was the only Johto starter in top 100. Same in some other smaller polls I've seen.Feraligatr isn't unpopular, sure, but Typhlosion is by far the most popular Johto starter for sure.
>>58521496Do you have that Japanese poll? The SV one?
>>58521503https://gamewith.jp/pokemon-sv/article/show/431889Sure, two years old now, but latest/biggest japanese poll I know
>>58521603Some of these are so strange. Swampert is relatively high, but Fug is much much lower. And then you have Porygon2 and the dough dog sitting higher up.
>>58519712>Serperior gets Gigantimax'dIt's Snover...Oh god they might try to ruin Empoleon with one too! Arceus have mercy!
>>58519712Its getting a rapier when it gets whatever form it becomes.
>>58519742I think they just picked starters that have been famously powercrept or just launched kinda bad as an excuse to give them new forms that might make them much better because they have an active agenda to make all starter pokemon good in the games because every starter pokemon ever is prone to be some kid's favorite pokemon ever because it was their first pokemon ever. The trios they picked all being kinda bad and needed a update is the only commonality I find out of the legend games starter choices.
>>58521797> better because they have an active agenda to make all starter pokemon goodExcept they already shat the bed in PLA since the starters didn’t get buffs they got regionals. Even if fans of Typhlosion, Samurott, and Decidueye like the regionals, they would logically be more attached to the OG’s and want those to good. And even if every fan of the OG switches gears, threw the OG’s in the trash and only cares about the shiny new regionals, game freak fucked it up again because the regionals really aren’t that strong aside from H Samurott and even then only in singles, in VGC it’s fucking worthless and H. Decidueye is somehow a bigger failure in all PvP formats than the flop that was the OG. H. typhlosion is surprisingly decent in VGC but considering they gave it Frisk in an open meta, the most likely reality is they tried to sabotage it but failed.
>>58519712Serperior IS wavy, it's a snake
>>58519712I liked our patternfags way better than gf's gay ass pattern adherence. Give me zodiac theory any day of the weak over bacon spear.
