Hey /vp/I remember seeing a particular Fakemon being posted here. It was a traditional art of Bug type (possibly Bug/Fairy) with paper armor/paper dress and sleeves. It might've been based on origami and it was a 3 stage line which my pic rel reminded me of. Am trying my darndest to find it again, but it feels impossible.

At the risk of pulling a David, I'm contemplating changing my grass starter fakemon. I've got this vague idea for a nerdy crow turning into an astronaut. I still want to keep this space/nerd theme going because it is really important to my regions inspiration, but I'm going to change the animal. This just doesn't spark as much joy as it once did.

Plus, it was recorded flying that high via a mid-air collision, which could be fun for inspiration. They fly that high in order to scan the ground more easily, instead of flying long distances they just go higher to see more.Might end up being a more natural design angle if you're basing it on an animal that's less popular, like a vulture.

I've got two criteria I got to stick to when it comes to the starters - the first being that they gotta fit into my school/AAA theme. You've got to be pretty smart to be an astronaut, and that is Academics. And the next is that it has to relate to Native American or Indigenous folklore in some way. And there is both an Aztec and Cree story about rabbits and the moon. I'm just imagining a cool looking green rabbit riding on a carrot like a rocket ship - this imagery is doing something for me so I'm going to run with it and see where I end up.
