>>58522138It does seem like there's no escape from the hell Lumiose has turned into. It's even worse after the end of the story with three Battle Zones every night instead of one and twenty Wild Zones including the middle of the central plaza where the delapidated Prism Tower is. I noticed how dystopic the city seemed prerelease but fully expected the NPCs to just roll with it because Pokémon usually lacks any nuance. Surprisingly there are lots of characters who complain about the situation and even Quasartico recognizes the urban redevelopment is heavily flawed. Still, there is no long-term plan expressed to improve the situation beyond a vague "people and Pokémon must gradually learn to live together in peace" so it's unlikely the people against it would change their minds anytime soon.
