Pichu is a flex pick. Feel free to fill the spot with something else if you'd like, though I will say it does enable you to very easily get Ho-oh up turn 3 if you do start with it. Most likely you'll get Zerora though, which is fine.

Rayquaza start isn't the end of the world cause it can tank for a while as you hopefully build Ho-oh up on the bench and then Lima it back out so it has full HP when you Tubro Pheonix on it. Ho-oh start is the worst, but luckily there are enough basics in the deck that it's rare for you to get bricked that hard.

Either build Zerora up for it or just ignore it since Fug attacks the bench anyway. Depends on your tolerance for gambling the dancing chicken eating a some damage. Usually I just ignore unless they have 2 in play.

It's pretty good. You'd expect an effect like this to discard energies, but because it keeps the energies it's pretty fuckin good. Would have been nice if it worked with Blaine as well but oh well. Flareon does more direct damage but the splash damage can come in handy for pulling targets out of the bench. It also doesn't have the support of Eevee bags to reach breakpoints. I'd say it's got its niche and will play similarly to Flareon EX, especially if you bring Flame Patch into the picture.

So they know you'll want level 100, they know you'll want 99 slots, they know you'll want the deck builder to not auto-assign grass/dual energies on you when you clearly didn't fucking ask for it, they know you want the ability to open all your promo packs at once, they know you want dark mode so your eyes don't get fucking flash banged when you open the app at night, etc. But they won't deliver that to you right away. They will slowly give these updates in increments. Why? So that when they finally increase the limit it feels like they did something when literally all they did was hit backspace and type a new number in. But you'll praise them with a "fucking finally" like everyone is doing right now. But, like everyone is doing right now, they will ask for more. And that's exactly why DeNA isn't going to give the full package in one go. Because you WANT it. So it's something to look forward to that takes absolutely 0 effort on their part, so they can deploy it when they feel like numbers are slowing down or they are late on shipping another update.
