>yeah, let's not look into that castle directly below us
>>
>what is suspension of belief
>>
>>58530058
how is your suspension of disbelief not broken after this shit
>>
why didn't zygarde stop this
>>
>>58530049
I believe it was implied this was successfully hidden from everyone in the league.
>>
>>58530049
stop noticing things chud, gen 5's story is perfect
>>
>>58530079
For over a decade? lmao
>>
>>58530082
no one says this
>>
>>58530067
unova deserved it
also not a world threatening event
>>
>>58530079
no idea how it got past the elite four, but that junkie fuck alder was never at the pokémon league
>>
who the fuck cares, it looks cool
>>
>>58530049
The Illuminati probably is building a radio tower right below your own house which is sending gay porn radar into your brain daily and you aren’t aware. This stuff happens irl
>>
>>58530138
I'm entitled to an explanation if their objective was for us to be invested in the story.
>>
>>58530171
>I'm entitled to an explanation
no, you're entitled to aids

Advanced autism: the thread.
>>
>>58530067
Because the prodigal 16 year old child was there to save the day cleanly and effectively, therefore it wasn't necessary.
Just like how it didn't do anything in RSEORAS, just like how it didn't do anything in DPPt, just like how it didn't do anything in B2W2, just like how it didn't do anything in XY, just like how it didn't do anything in SMUSUM aside from going on vacation, just like how it didn't do anything in SWSH, just like how it didn't do anything in PLA, just like how it didn't do anything in SV.
>>
>>58530138
Agreed.
>>58530171
The explanation is they built it in secret and nobody noticed because the Champion, Alder, is a free spirit who never does his job. It's a commentary on society becoming complacent and they literally get undermined by a malevolent force meaning to trick everyone into trusting them.
>>
>>58530219
By this metric, the events of the apparent "Z Verison" timeline that LZA takes place in, where Xerneas and Yveltal were both captured at the same time by Team Flare instead of just one of them, was either a "no protagonist" timeline or the protagonist outright failed to defeat Lysandre, therefore Zygarde actually had to intervene to stop the Ultimate Weapon.
Which means Z Timeline Lysandre, of all the timelines we've directly experienced a game in, is the CLOSEST a villain has ever come to successfully destroying the world, and THAT'S the baseline requirement for Zygarde to intervene.
>>
did ghetsis personally help with construction or did he leave everything to the plasmajannies
>>
>>58530049
Ancient castles aren't supposed to move like that typically

According to the manga, Grimsley knew about it
>>
>>58530295
Non-game media usually isn't canon to the games, especially an alternate continuity like the anime or manga, so it's not a good frame of reference.
>>
>>58530283
oh shit really? how do they normally move then? by crawling? jumping? walkingcwith thousands of little legs?
>>
>>58530063
I'm not autistic
>>
>>58531034
I think you have to be if it wasn’t at that point
>>
>>58530049
BW1 was a comedy.
>>
>>58530049
Why didn't they say it's a ridiculous mobile castle moved by Pokemon, like they have armies of Excadrill moving it underground or armies of Beheeyem teleporting it around? It had to be that it was secretly built underground the League?
>>
>>58530219
I might see a pattern here: Children without existing father figures (ignoring May / Brendan) are your best bet to stop the apocalypse.

>>58530222
I mean, you would notice the logistics of building a bigass underground castle below something considered a government building. No way anyone responsible there or bystanders wouldn't notice that (but then again they're Unovans' so who knows). At least someone having seen something odd around the league, but nothing. Not even conspiracy theorists.

>>58530242
This theory falls flat if you consider the successful team leaders in USUM. The protags either failed or didn't exist, and yet Zygarde didn't intervene.
>>
>>58530049
How did the Chabad-Lubavich build a tunnel network directly under NYC? If we left it, it would've done exactly the same thing
>>
>>58532307
Would you know if someone was building a castle a mile under your house?
>>
>>58532578
Probably not. It's just unrealistic how nobody picked up on anything. Like strange grumbling sounds from bellow, a lot of materials being transported through the region, strange folks being seen more often etc.
>>
>>58532050
RS*
>>
>>58530049
It was so absurd.
It was awesome.

Peak.
>>
>>58532050
how about another joke, alder?
>>
>>58530083
There are things underneath many cities to this day that people don't even know exist. Things like cisterns, tunnels and ruins.
I know my city has a Labrinth of WWII tunnels somewhere apparently. You can see some of them on a hell where they're exposed.
>>
>>58533601
Just to clear some things up, are we talking about constructing underground structures or finding preexisting ones? The latter would be much more believable.
>>
>>58533811
Well most countries still build new structures to this day as well.
In LA and Las Vegas there's apparently tunnel networks and I'm not talking about Musk's shit. I'm talking secret shit that elites use.
>>
Why is the Unova Pokemon League built on a small hill in front of a massive featureless dirt plain anyway?
>>
>>58530139
kek anon be cranking it to gay porn
>>
>>58530049
It's some kind of oopart built centuries ago.
They only built the league later because of some symbolic or energetic point, like churches built on pagan temples
>>
>>58530171
Pokemon has never had a story that was worth being invested in.
>>
>>58534207
Gen 1's, because it was entirely about YOUR journey with no outsider interference that felt like it was completely detracting from your journey.
>>
>>58530139
>gay porn radar
>OH NO IT'S ON YOUR HARD DRIVES R U A GAY ANON?????
5D chess. I outplayed them.
>>
>>58530139
Unironically, if they could indoctrinate people through air waves, it would be to ungay you and make you breed more debt slaves more efficiently.
Could explain the sudden hate of gays in the past couple years by former normalfags around me.
>>
>>58534207
Gen 5 and 7 were worth it. They're on par with early DQs and FFs.
>>
>>58530208
you mean the board
>>
>>58530049
This definitely falls under nitpick territory but it is pretty fucking dumb that Plasma had the money, resources, and manpower to do this in secret directly underneath what would logically be one of the most busy places in the region. This should have been the airship from BW2 being built under Route 4 or some other isolated area, which then could have been flown to the Pokemon League. As it is there's no real point in the castle being where it is. They don't really need to "invade" the Pokemon League at all, N can just walk in with his legendary Pokemon and take over. The castle only exists to look cool and make Plasma seem powerful.

I really liked 7's. It's a bit sloppy, but it was good fun. I was properly engaged with it. Lusamine is just great.
