ITT: Pokemon you never used and when you finally did, became your party favorite. Used Camerupt for the first time in Z-A and he ended up being one of my most reliable Pokemon. Earthquake is so busted in Z-A. Closing the gap with Heat Crash was also great.

Exploud turned out to be pretty good in Emerald despite always hearing about how shit it was. I found a Timid Whismur in Rusturf Tunnel with HP-Grass and decided to coveragemaxx with him. He kind of sucked at first due to having to use physical moves, but once his movepool finally came together he became one of the most useful members on the team, despite not having STAB. I only wish the Choice Scarf or Expert Belt existed in this gen.>>58536282I've been pleasantly surprised by how decent Camerupt is in the Battle Frontier. It has a great movepool for Gen III and the power-level is low enough for it to not get instantly kek'd for being a SFMA. Being immune to Burn, Paralysis and Freeze is a nice bonus as well. The big lug beat Anabel and Brandon with relative ease.
