>>58539140One is cosmetic one matters statistically I think
>>58539140gamefreak used "forme" once and didn't proofread so they're sticking with it
>>58539140Forme means "For me" representing GF giving everyone the finger and designing Pokemon to suit their own tastes
>>58539162Hisuian Lilligant is for me
>>58539140I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be>FormState of Pokemon's being. It cannot change this willfully.>FormeIt can change this with specific actions. But around Gen 7 they said fuck it and stopped calling new things "forme"s
>>58540751It's actually just a translation issue, it's supposed to be "sugata" -> "form" and "forme" -> "forme", but in recent gens the translators have fucked up and translated "forme" as "form" so often there's no consistency in what gets called what in English any more.
Forme is the French word for "shape"Form is an English word copied from the French word mentioned above, but with the final E removed so that it would sound the same as it does in French (since they dont pronounce final Es).
