Wait wait wait was rose supposed to be so idealistic that he thought only in the current age would they be able to handle the darkest day (cause leon has hecking charizard) and if it happened 1000 years in the future whatever champ would be a flop and slop?
Does this sound right or am I a schizo.

What if he heard from a fortune teller that Leon was going to be defeated by some no name kid and no longer be champion. Hearing that that the undefeated champion would be replaced by some kid he knew that if he waited one more day that Leon would lose and who knows what kind of ramifications this could have on there ability to defeat Eternatus. So he forced the darkest day through before Leon could be potentially psyched out by his potential fluke first ever loss. After all, psychics are real in pokemon and the dlc confirms that there is an elite clan of psychics in Galar, maybe they are on Rose's payroll?
