In a sane world, it would be literally impossible to make a bad design for Mega Golurk going from it's base design, using the canon form, freeing the spiritual energy from it's core, allowing it to fly like a rocket in battle, making it look like a knight or a centurion. On paper it becomes golden and sharper, but Game Freak somehow screwed that up by making the making it piss colored and fucking up the proportion and giving it clown feet. Just making the feet just 30 or even 25% smaller would be an improvement. Or even make make the wings and neck longer and lean more into a crane (I saw a picture that did that and it looked decent but I don’t have it) If someone said Game Freak was intentionally making megas walking punchlines by giving them memey designs or shitty stats out of spite as to troll fans as punishment for wanting megas back so much, it’s be a reasonable theory, though the reality is that game freak is just that fucking stupid and have always been the weak link of TPC
