I went to the first showing of pokemon 2000 in my town as a kid. I was at the end of the line. When I asked for a ancient mewtwo card they said they gave them all away. The worker said they didn't care about the cards to they just gave each of the first few kids as many cards as they wanted and ran out after a minute. I'm still mad about that.

It was justified against Jackie Chun since he already had Goku beat fair and square if not for the moon turning him into a great ape and breaking him out of the stunlock lightning technique, but Goku got robbed in the second tournament by the random truck running into him and costing him the victory against Tenshinhan.
